•  HOW TO PREPARE  •

STEP 1 – Register to Attend & Prepare for Your Trip to Sacramento
You may either register as an individual (for yourself) or as a group (for yourself, plus colleagues and/or consumer advocates that you plan to bring with you). The registration process will collect details about each attendee – including meal preferences and reasonable accommodation requests. Should you need to cancel or revise your registration, please contact our staff.

Please be sure to prepare for your trip to Sacramento by reviewing the event details, below.

STEP 2 – Coordinate Meetings at the Capitol
Legislative Targets Matrix has been developed to support coordination of meetings at the State Capitol. Please note that our team WILL NOT be scheduling meetings on your behalf. It is up to each Coalition/ Collaborative member to coordinate meeting participation in the afternoon. If you have questions about this process or would like some additional support, please contact our staff.

Check out our template meeting request letter.

STEP 3 – Check Back for Updates
As we get closer to the event date, we will be adding additional details such as the agenda, event materials, status updates on Legislative meetings, and other information. Please check back frequently to get the scoop on Advocacy Day!
